Dear Bill,

 

Today we had 2 events, one at the College of Physical Education for Women and we hosted a 5-a-side football game for all-girls teams and gave out England football shirts and footballs and an event at the Al Salam Soccer School in Askan district, that has seen very heavy sectarian violence as recently as last year. I gave them several Kick for Nick footballs and told many of them the stories. We filmed and photographed the event and the US military was present. I told the story numerous times, to the Iraqi children, to the media and to the troops there. They all listened quetly and said “thank you” and one young boy, kept saying “God rest his soul” every time I said Nick’s name. I was very touched.

 

Bill, I know these are small gestures, but I am more than honoured to be privileged enough to tell Nick’s story. Thank you and God bless you and your family.

 

We have 5 more events and I will take as many pictures as I can and I will prepare a report so you can give it to all the kind people who have made this generous donation.
