Brian Choe

Dear Bill and The Madaras Family,

My name is Brian Choe and i am a soldier in the US Army currently serving in Iraq. On occasions my team organizes a program called the "Junior Hero Program" for school children in Iraq. We provide school supplies, backpacks, clothes and food to less fortunate school children. Today we gave out approximately 700 backpacks and supplies to a school in a village approximately 20 minutes north of Baghdad.

Along with our school supplies and backpacks i came across a big box of soccer balls that were supplied by Stow Soccer Club through the Kick for Nick Campaign. It was a joy for me and my fellow soldiers to light up the kids faces by giving them soccer balls. There is nothing that will bring a smile to a Iraqi child's face than a soccer ball.

Thank you and your family for establishing such a great organization. I read the life Iraqi Child with KFN Ballstory of your son Nicholas written by Tom Thresher (Wilton, CT) and he sounds like a great young man, his legacy and contribution to this world will live on through this great organization. I am privilege to have a job in the army which give me the freedom to set up and organize charity events for students and children. With contributions from organizations such as Kick for Nick, it helps me do my job effectively. I plan on organizing a charity event for children with soccer as the main theme in the near future.

here are a few pictures that i would like to share with you all. Feel free to use me as a contact for any future contributions you may have planned.

many thanks

Brian Choe
